For example, eXpresso increases Excel's functionality by providing highly anticipated features like real-time collaborative editing, cell editing assignments, spreadsheet comparisons, individual access controls, file changes audit trails, and more. Finally, multiple people can work on the same Excel spreadsheet at the same time - making everyone's work immediately available to everyone else. All changes are recorded in the file history and can be viewed or reconciled at any time.
In addition to Web-based editing, eXpresso provides an Excel Add-In so people can work off-line in Excel if preferred. When a user's ready to publish their changes for others to see, she or he can quickly and easily save the spreadsheet to eXpresso for others to access.
