Working with Files
Upload a File
You can access the LotusLive file menu from the left hand navigation bar under My Dashboard. To begin working with files, click "File."
Choose "Upload a File" and browse to the file or files that you would like to upload.
Make your sharing and permission choices. If you don't know how you'd like to share the file now, don't worry. You can always change it latter. Once you have selected each of the files you want to upload, click "Upload."
You will now find these files in your "My Files" folder.
Open/Edit a File
Click the down arrow next to the file you want to open. Then choose your preferred editor, either MS Office or IBM Lotus Symphony.
For files that were created in Microsoft Office you can choose to either Open with Microsoft Office or Open with IBM Lotus Symphony if you have Symphony installed on your desktop. Files created in Symphony will be opened with Symphony.
For example, the file I have opened below has the .ppt file extension because it was created in Microsoft PowerPoint. However, I can choose to open and edit it using either Microsoft Office or IBM Lotus Symphony.
Once the file is open, I can edit it exactly as I would on my desktop using either IBM Lotus Symphony or Microsoft Office.
Creating New files inside LotusLive
New files can be created inside LotusLive without the need to create them on the desktop and upload. Simply choose “New” from the top menu on the file screen and then choose whether you’d like to create a Document, Presentation or Spreadsheet. On the next screen you will name the file and choose the file type.

Adding Comments through eXpresso
